With Final Exit, 86 Mentality continues with their blend of pulverizing hardcore and stomping oi/street punk but it's also the production of this recording which elevates this material, making it their most powerful release. For fans of early tough American like Negative Approach, S.O.A, Life’s Blood, Iron Crozz, and early Blitz.
ALEXISONFIRE - Self-titled (Equal Vision) 400.00 Php.
A great Canadian screamo band, with one screamer and one singer, a great harmony. Alexisonfire have combined ear stabbing screams, intricate guitar melodies and beautiful singing to create a very exciting musical juxtaposition. Their sound is a direct collaboration of personal influences based on the love of music and the desire to play.
ALLERGIC TO WHORES - The Lipstick Murders (Sound Pollution) 350.00 Php.
17 new songs from Cleveland's ALLERGIC TO WHORES. The follow up to the amazing "Shadows In The Killing Field" CD released last year that surprised and floored many people. Still dealing energetic hardcore with a good dose of melody, but that doesn't lessen the impact - just makes it more memorable. Think fast hardcore fornicating with the Misfits. CD also includes an entire live set.
ALLERGIC TO WHORES - Shadows In The Killing Field (Sound Pollution) 350.00 Php.
Absolutely mind blowing 22 HC thrash anthems that have all the essential elements; speed, amazing vocals, a sense of melody, and great choruses. This would be a perfect fit in Boston back in the day tearing it up with GANG GREEN then heading to Philly to thrash it up with FLAG OF DEMOCRACY. This is fucking energetic hardcore.
ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET - Caveat Emptor (Slap-A-Ham) 300.00 Php.
Ancient Chinese Secret is another good Chris Dodge (of Spazz fame) project. This being the only album put out by them, and on good ol' sadly defunct Slap-A-Ham Records (Dodge's label) you'd think that you might know what the music would sound like. It's powerviolence with just a bass, drums and sometimes keyboards. There are also some very weird instrumental tracks as well. Chris Dodge's wife sings on this, with some drummer from some pretty popular powerviolence band. His wife hated powerviolence, but still sang on this release.
ANSWER CRYING - Under The Authority (Tribal War Asia) 250.00 Php.

This band features ex-members of Aus-Rotten lyricist and vocalist Dave and drummer Matt, along with Bill Chamberlain on guitar (formerly of The Pist, React, etc.), and another Matt on bass. What you get is brutal punk rock, with the power of a run-away steam roller, and some of the most relevant anarcho-punk lyrics and angry delivery today. The likeness to Aus-Rotten is undeniable, but add on the powerful sound of React and you can get an idea of what the next wave of anarcho-punk will sound like.
BESTIAL HOLOCAUST - Final Extermination (Kill Yourself) 300.00 Php.

Another yet to be among the best crust bands from Asia Pacific region. Pazahora from Singapore plays melodic driven epic crust, rock out and have this similar sound with bands like Tragedy, or From Ashes Rises. Crux from Australia deliver another 5 songs that have this strong stench feeling inside. Imagine bands like Amebix, Sacrilege or newer one Sanctum, you will get the answer. Sometimes they are fast and throw some mid pace crust but to describe them perfectly, the music is heavy. Comes in a digi-slipcase with woodcut images of the apocalypse. Crust fans will dig this.
CUT THE SHIT - Harmed And Dangerous (Gloom) 300.00 Php.
After these Bostonians dropped their debut Bored To Death 7" on the world... They've out done themselves by now writing a completely raging, classic punk album for the hardcore in us all. Deadseraphim played a key role in a time that was dominated by bands like Usurp Synapse, Neil Perry, Jeromes Dream, and many other shortlived, chaotic driven machines. Though only around from 2000-2002, they were still able to siphon twelve tracks of uncontrolled, reckless bedlam into minds everywhere. These tracks were released in the format of a s/t 7", split LP with Montcalm, and a split 7" with Drowning In Lethe. This discography brings them all together, along with five other previously unreleased live tracks, for the first time in CD format. Musically, they play fast, in-your-face powerful hardcore punk aggressive tunes with a message of anger, fear and despair and are fronted by the remarkable voice of ("The Anti-") Christy, who also happens to be a columnist in Profane Existence magazine. Think of raspy female vocals similar to Mia Zapata from THE GITS played over an intense assault of thrashy but tuneful punk.

PARKINSON / KIRENANEKO / SELFMADEGOD - Split “Victims of The Grind” (Multi-label) 300.00 Php.
Three bands combine on this great split. All bands throw diverse kind of grind tunes that rip apart. Kirenaneko played mince style ala agathocles. Selfmadegod made out the day with grind/trash tune with hardcore edge, moshing part and brutal vocals.10 songs including Doom, police bastard cover song. last is parkinson. PLEASANT VALLEY CHILDREN - Welcome To Bedlam Valley (Flat Earth Records) 350.00 Php.
Ex-Generic, pre-Health Hazard, Suffer, Boxed In. Out of the barren wastelands of the late 80s / early 90s, came Pleasant Valley Children. Unique both sonically and lyrically, a warped collision between early Black Flag, early Rudimentary Peni, and vintage Born Against. Cruel, sneering vocals and bludgeoning musicianship lend this 40 song discography a menacing air that’s ugly as all fuck and sure to batter down your resolve no matter how strong you figure yourself to be. It contain a 28 page booklet.

PULL OUT AN EYE - Self-titled 250.00 Php.
Fast n’ furious hardcore / punk from Belorusian outfit. Loads of blazing tempos, blasting drums, and straight-up shouting vocals, as well as cool uses of rocked out chord progressions and subtle melody in addition to loose, jangly playing styles that allow more texture and feeling to shine through.
PUS VOMIT - Degrade the Worthless (Berdugo) 300.00 Php.
Finally the Debut CD from the Philippine's Pus Vomit. REMISSION - Ninety Five to Ninety Eight (Profane Existence) 350.00 Php.
Before there was Wartorn, before Worlds That Burn, the hordes of northern Wisconsin crust punks moshed counter-clockwise in delight for their previous efforts in Remission. This CD contains 24 tracks and includes all three EPs plus their entire 1995 "Human Compassion" demo cassette. This is rough and raging hardcore punk that falls somewhere between Disrupt and Civil Disobedience. An important blast from the past.
RUN FOR YOUR FUCKING LIFE - Discography (Gloom) 300.00 Php.
This CD includes their LP, their 7", and two extra bonus tracks. Run For Your Fucking Life's sound is a raw surge of '80s hardcore, in particular Econochrist. Every song is harsh and ready to explode, and yet underneath it all there is a melodic element that helps to really round out their sound. The band hails from San Diego, USA.
SANCTIONS - Home Sweet Home (Anti-Corporate Music) 250.00 Php.
12 tracks of dark hardcore from Tennessee. Very personal and, at times, fucking hostile lyrics. There are some obvious From Ashes Rise influences but not overt attempt to be quite as epic sounding. It comes in a very nice DIY screen-printed, gatefold digipack.
SARNIA - Polluted / Diseased (Straight Outta Cobden) 200.00 Php.
A crusty new ensemble from northern Ontario that combine a healthy dose of crust punk, grind and even a little metalcore into their powerful mix. Included on their debut EP are eight varied but fast-paced tracks, all of with gutturally screamed vocals and decidedly political lyrics.
SEITAN - D-Beat Hippie Lover (Inget Javla Chafs) 300.00 Php.
This 14 track CD is the debut release by Seitan, an intensely furious d-beat hardcore band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Musically Seitan play raw and brutal hardcore punk in a style that pays homage classic early 80's d-sound. On top of it all are guttural style vocals that give this an over-all sound not too dissimilar to the first couple of Sore Throat albums. While the message herein is totally political, there is an obviously humorous undertone to everything band does, keeping it interesting and setting them apart from all the other d-beat clones.
SHITGIVEITS - Freedom From Reality (Industrial Strength) 300.00 Php.
Good street punk with Oi! elements. If you like Oi! music you'd probably like it. The singer sounds a little bit like the casualties' singer.
STATE OF THE UNION - In the Bitter End (Profane Existence) 350.00 Php.
This discographic CD includes five pulverizing new tracks (for an unreleased 12” recorded in 2000) plus their self-titled LP and both EPs in their entirety. State of the Union played dark, introspective, and despair-driven gloom core in a style that groups them with likes of Dystopia, Christdriver, Asbestos Death, and even some Neurosis and Godflesh. This CD is a long overdue final testament and contains practically they ever recorded and has a total run time of 79.45 minutes.
STIFF RESISTANCE - Stained Glass (Anti-Corporate Music) 300.00 Php.
12 songs of ass busting punk rock and ska from Music City, USA. This band is against racism, sexism, neo-conservatism and other forms of bullshit!
STRAIGHT ANSWER - Complete Discography 1996-2007 (Cactus / Nercous) 300.00 Php.
Since 1996, this Jakarta melodic hardcore been keep it active until now. Their recent, 2009 full length release was superb! And all the songs inside this CD compile the good work from Straight Answer from the year 1996 - 2008. Taken from various ep releases, demo, compilation, this is yet the best hardcore band coming from Indonesia since past two decades.
STRAIGHT TO HELL - '02 to '04 Discography (Gloom) 350.00 Php.
Straight to Hell is the dirty American bastard child of Swedish and Japanese hardcore (except Straight To Hell is from the artsy fartsy town of Providence, RI). Ex-members don't need to be mentioned, because their music stands on it's own. The music is a pummeling assault of tight drumming, awesome guitar leads, overpowering bass with vocals that are pissed off screams and are convincingly angry! Extremely pissed off, brutal hardcore. This 24 song CD is highly recommended for fans of Death Side and Totalitar. Includes the split 7" with Balance Of Terror, the s/t 7", and the "We Will Bury You" LP.
SYSTRAL - Fever (Per Koro) 400.00 Php.
Follow up to their brilliant and classic 7", another apocalyptic, heavy killer output with 13 songs (included a Kyle Minogue cover version) and more great samplings. The CD contains the classic 7", some compilation songs and an unreleased Motörhead cover tribute song to the highway. This CD will leave you standing speechless!!
SUPERSLEUTH - The Hate Divides (Underestimated) 170.00 Php.
Melodic, fast tempoed hardcore band. They continue to fuse 80s hardcore and straight ahead punk into a tight, fast mix. Compared to No For An Answer, Avail, and Mouthpiece, but not exactly like any of them. Their sound is full of energy, plus the lyrics are insightful and intelligent.
TERATOGENY - Mundo Famelico (Magnicidio Records) 250.00 Php.
Late 80’s / early 90’s style crust from this band from Mexico City. Their style is down-tuned and leans heavily on early grindcore influences like Terrorizer too, much like the more frenetically paced songs of Destroy. They end the CD on a particularly brutal rendition of the classic DOOM song “After The Bomb”.
THE BOLLOCKS - Revival (Life On The Edge) 300.00 Php.
One of the oldest and most respected mid 90s punk band from Malaysia playing 80s style political punk. This new CD of The Bollocks contains new studio tracks, old songs from their 1994 demo plus cover from Mass Separation.
THE COOTERS - Chaos or Bust (Profane Existence) 300.00 Php.
Fresh on the heels of their much more serious epic Punk Metal, The Cooters unleash the animal inside, with this digital party on a disc called Chaos or Bust. The first six songs are 100% COOTER style punk / crust / metal anthems about fucking shit up in the streets, American nationalistic lunacy, personal relationship nightmares, and late-night misadventures. Then there are a series of COOTERfied covers of the likes of Motorhead, The Misfits and Discharge, and it comes with incredible full-color packaging, plus is enhanced with a music video for their song Life Like.
THE COOTERS - The Moon Will Rise Again (T-Bones) 300.00 Php.
The second full length experience from the Cooters, "Mississippi's only punk / metal / crust band" full on immersion into punk, metal, and blues-laced stoner rock featuring former Profane Existence editor and PISSED guitarist. Newt Rayburn.
THE COOTERS - The Punk Metal (Profane Existence) 300.00 Php.
The Cooters are a trio of punk metal bastards, willingly exiled to the backwoods of Mississippi to spread the gospels on the front lines. Being their third and best full-length release, this CD was written and constructed over the course of three years and skillfully recorded by Tom Queyja. The Cooters have been blowing away unsuspecting audiences since 1993, formed when bass player Newter Cooter returned to his home territory after living for some time in Minneapolis (where he previously formed the band Pissed and helped edit Profane Existence Magazine).
THE ETERNAL BLADE - Self-titled (Great White North) 300.00 Php.

Old school pinoy punk band from Bulacan, Philippines but currently based in Singapore. This 3rd album features a collection of 15 cover songs mostly from the 80’s pinoy punk bands plus 2 original songs. Great tribute to the pioneers of Philippine punk scene. Released in Singapore.
UNDER PRESSURE - Still No Future (Sound Pollution) 350.00 Php.
Totally out of control hardcore thrash with more bad ass riffs than thought possible. UNDER PRESSURE mixes intense fast hardcore with some killer ZEKE style rock riffs plus one hell of a recording for maximum damage. UNDER PRESSURE is not a new band as much as it is a continuation from where its predecessor, GUNS, LIQUOR & WHORES left off. That probably explains why the band is soooo fucking good right away.
UNRUH - Misery Strengthened Faith (King of the Monsters) 400.00 Php.
Eighteen tracks of un-apologetically metal hardcore from Tempe, Arizona's legendary Unruh. The CD includes their LP, their 7", the split 7" with Enewetak, as well as a comp track. Bludgeoning, vicious, brutal, and metal.

FOREIGN 7” EP (phonograph records)
ANOTHER OPPRESSIVE SYSTEM - Self-titled (Skit) 200.00 Php.
Dark styled crustcore band from Connecticut, USA influenced by the Scandinavian scene. This is their second release and definitely their most solid stuff.
ANTICHRIST - Damned Those Who Preferred Bitterness of Earth Than Sweet Delusion of Heaven, Since They Only Knew How To Relish of Life (Dissonant Sound Industries) 150.00 Php.
Antichrist were a part of Polish anarcho-punk scene since 1998 formed in late 90s by ex-guitar player from AMEN. They have recorded 1 LP and 4 EPs before they split up in 2002. Unfortunately, Poland always was a stronghold of NSBM, clericalism and ultra-conservatism, so you haven't expected any anti-religious and anarchist crust / black metal band to come from Poland, especially in the very beginning of 2000s. But Antichrist are exactly such kind of band and their music is GOOD!
BAD TASTE - Self-titled (Panx) 150.00 Php.

The world debut by this three-piece hardcore powerhouse from Florida. Six songs, all great! Cool cover art by emerging artist Zack Arrington. They make Los Crudos look like Menudo.

HELLCHILD / GOMORRHA - Split (Per Koro / Bastardized) 200.00 Php.
HELLCHILD, the well known Japanese veteran masters of deathcore are back on the map with 2 songs of bombastic, emotive, energetic metal influenced hardcore in their own famous style. Germans GOMORRHA delivers 3 brutal grind-metal-violence hardcore smashers. Hard to find split ep released in 1999.

Japanese crazy grind crust killer featuring 9 songs released in 1998. Fucking great rare shit!
INSANE'N THE BRAIN - Self-titled (Answer) 150.00 Php.
Japan grind/hardcore thrashers insane in the brain’s sophomore 7” is four tracks of very well played in your face Japanese thrash. The vocals are more straight forward and are not as weird as the previous 7”, but the music is more interesting and tighter.
KONTRAATTAQUE - Luchas, Tragedias... (El Grito) 150.00 Php.
El grito has finally repressed the Kontraattaque 7". This time around it has a new cover and a 20 page booklet. KRATORNAS / VORKUTA - Split “Monoliths of Annihilation” (Paragon) 450.00 Php.
Philippines’ KRATORNAS carries on in its chaotic brand of black death metal along the lines of old MORBID ANGEL, KRISIUN and early SLAYER. Released in USA.

PATH OF DESTRUCTION - 1 A.M. (Havoc) 150.00 Php.
Minneapolis hardcore crust punk at it's most tough and brutal. They recorded a 7" for Sin Fronteras and a split ep with Minneapolis metallic crust core band Provoked. The main influence here is Poison Idea and when you spin this sucker you will feel the darkness.
PUS - A Life In Fear (Know) 200.00 Php.
Political crust punk from UK ala Doom meets Subhumans meets Conflict. One of my fave punk bands from the UK during early 90’s.
I got a copy also of their first diy demo tape titled “vivisectionist die’ released in 1990.
PROCTALGIA / TUMOUR - Split (special edition) 2x 7"EP (Multi-label) P300.00

Five more ragers from the ever-prolific Reason of Insanity -- a nice mix of hardcore/thrash influences, ranging from the Offenders to Treblinka. SHIKABANE - Hatred (Agipunk) 150.00 Php.
Absolutely dark and nihilistic death crust Japanese band. Shikabane are really one of the king of japanese political fastcore scene. All four songs are incredibly dense musically but even then struggle to keep up with the desparate evil of the vocals. This is the vinyl version of the CDep out on MCR.

UPSET / RUBBISH HEAP - Split (Conspiracy) 200.00 Php.
Another great release from Conspiracy Records. Upset are back with a new line up and a bit of a different sound. Music wise, it's still chaotic and heavy but the vocals are more screamed now as opposed to strained (like before). Still fucking great. Rubbish Heap lay down two new tracks that are simply amazing. Great metallic hardcore with a bit of a crust influence that is really impressive. This is a great record!

FOREIGN 12” LP
ABUSO SONORO / AMOR PROTESTO Y ODIO - Split (Agipunk) 400.00 Php.
Great record from these two Brazilian anarko-political bands, the Abuso Sonoro side is great! This is their best stuff ever. Great HC-crust more in the way of hiatus 2nd LP fast and heavy! BRATPACK - Hate The Neighbors (Crucial Attack) 500.00 Php.
Hailing from the eastern part of The Netherlands comes a band that you would expect from the western and sunny side of California. The band started in 2006 and not long after that they recorded a demo which was well received by critics and fans. Influences vary from the melodic sounds of Nofx, Bad Religion, No Use For A Name but with a harder edge than any of these bands using influences of hardcore bands such as RKL, Stalag 13, 7 seconds and old New York and DC hardcore bands like Minor Threat and Urban Waste. This album of Brat Pack delivers 13 songs of full excitement and loads of melodies which will have you dancing in no time and also set a standard for the next generation of punkrock bands to come. CAPDOWN - Civil Disobedients (Household Name) 500.00 Php.
Capdown are a band from United Kingdom. Originally known as Soap, their songs have political themes as alluded to by their name, which is short for Capitalist Downfall. Mixing ska, punk, hardcore, dub, drum & bass and reggae, Capdown built a reputation around their independent releases and numerous tours. The awesome debut from one of the best bands the UK has seen. This has it all - catchy brass, driving hardcore beatdowns, and punk-rock with a message. Includes the live favorites 'Ska Wars' and 'Cousin Cleatus'. Limited to 666 copies, hand-numbered, blue colored LP.
CAPDOWN - Pound For The Sound (Household Name) 500.00 Php.
Second full length from the UK's leading ska-core band. What more can you say about Capdown. Full on politically charged skardcore brilliance from this amazing band. Essential. Actually, to call Capdown simply a "ska" band would be to short them. The band is as much punk and hardcore as ska. They fall somewhere in between Cali-skacore band Link 80 and legendary UK crew, The Specials.
CLASS ASSASSINS - State of Emergency (TKO) 500.00 Php.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, the CLASS ASSASSINS have been making waves in the punk/oi! scene with their melodic-yet-hammering style of authentic street rock n' roll. Now, with the release of State Of Emergency, these boys are ready to blow the lid off of the whole street punk genre! LP on orange vinyl.
DAMAGE GOODS - Fever (Crucial Attack) 400.00 Php.
Limited one-sided LP, silk screened. Belgium’s thrashers of Damaged Goods are back with 10 songs on the Fever LP. Fever is faster and with crazier guitar riffing, the friction will drive you insane. LP coming on 180 grams pink colored vinyl with a laseretch on the B-side. And to top it off the sleeve is printed in 5 pantone colors, which looks insane.
DEAD ONES - Self-titled (Gloom) 400.00 Php
After putting out two 7"s (the first on Gloom, the second on Busted Head Records), these Swedish punks deliver sixteen tracks of fast, melodic, yet harsh sounding hardcore. Throw in a quirky Sonics cover song to help weirden things up a bit. This record leaves the listener wanting to hear even more from these unknown Swedish gods. This is modern hardcore at its best with no gimmicks. Great cover art to boot. A great way to kick off the new year with Gloom Records. Description by Nate of Gloom Records.
DISKONTO / MASSGRAV - Split “A Blaze In The Northern Sky” (Sound Pollution) 400.00 Php
Two of the most fast and fuming-mad bands from the Swedish wastelands have teamed up with their best material. MASSGRAV rip loose another batch of some of the most pissed off raging HC thrash in history. DISKONTO kick out some of the catchiest raging HC heard in a long time. An absolute HC killer. Sealed LP.
FAST FORWARD - Sapless (King of the Monsters) 350.00 Php.
Fast Forward is a one man band, this man has spent time playing in Le Shok Warning: This LP plays from the centre out!!! There is nothing wrong with it, but you have to start the needle on the inside groove, and let it play towards the outside. It's weird. And you have been warned. Hailing from Los Angeles, California's Fast Forward offer up a splattering of electronic new-wave and experimental freak down. Sealed LP.
FORMER MEMBERS OF ALFONSIN./ PROJECT HATE - Split (Phyte) 400.00 Php.
FMOA deliver six tracks recorded in 1998 that scream smarts and passion. Project Hate's effort is solid and angry with a voice against subjects such as beauty standards and body image.
GAMEFACE - Three to Get Ready (Dr. Strange) 400.00 Php.
Their 2nd full length studio recording released in November of 1995. Emotionally driven punk rock close to the sound of Texas is The Reason or Jimmy Eat World. Tracks on the album were emotional, nostalgic, and charged with energy; and the album rocks from start to finish. Beautiful, powerful, emo-core punk rock masterpiece. Sealed LP.
KERUM - Twilight of The Apocalypse (Torture Garden Picture) 400.00 Php.
This Canadian grinders released a split 7" with Unholy Grave on Regurigated Semen Records a couple of years ago. This album contain 26 tracks of flesh ripping grind violence. Cool artwork with eyecancer producing neon colours cover of the LP.
KOSJER D - Self-titled (Genet) 400.00 Php.
Kosjer D was a Belgian emo band, when emo wasn't the sole territory of unhappy kids wanting to hurt themselves or thought the whole emo thing was good for their image. Some of their members went on to play in Reiziger and later in Confuse The Cat. They have one LP and one 7” ep.. The cover of this LP appears to be screen printed on a heavy card-stock record mailer,
KRAYS - Inside Warfare (Tribal War) 500.00 Php.
The Krays started out sometime in 1994 with a demo and some local shows. Over the years, they traveled the states, played shows with a lot of great bands, released a record on Eyeball, and shared a member with THE CASUALTIES. The band is best described as having a 70s punk sound with a harder New York edge. This is their first full length LP, and it showcases their talent as a band with lyrics about powerful political issues. A great punk album, fans of casualties and similar bands will love The Krays.
LIVING UNDER LIES - Self-titled (Dissonant Sound Industries) 400.00 Php.
Solid hardcore record with plenty of energy and aggression. Sounds a bit like Apeface. It is a good record with thought provoking lyrics, and the band features the vocalist/guitarist from Talk is Poison.
MONUMENTS TO RUINS - Under the Guise of Progress…The Rise of Deceit (Catchphraze) 400.00 Php.
Powerful and haunting anarchopunk with female/male vocals delivered in a way that not many bands can capture. Every song seems to flow perfectly together with the next, complimenting each other and creating one amazing LP rather than an LP with a few good songs on it and some filler.
NO WHITE RAGS - Nothing Left (Pure Punk / Nuclear Chaos) 400.00 Php.
The debut album from Italy’s D.I.Y. punx NO WHITE RAG features 10 tracks of political charged streetpunk/ Hardcore that draws heavily from UK ’82 Punk like The Varukers and Conflict, early 80’s Italian Punk/Hardcore and today’s streetpunk.
PAGANFIRE - Invoke False Metal’s Death (Monster Nation) 750.00 Php.
Old school raw thrash metal attack from Quezon City, Philippines featuring two thrash demos "Tasteless Revenge 2004" and "Vehemence Ensue 2006" on one vinyl LP released in Czech Republic.
PATHOGEN - Blasphemous Communion (Iron Bonehead) 750.00 Php.
Gut-fucking, ruthless, and Blasphemous Death Metal domination from Laguna, Philippines! Complete fucking old-school offensive, like being ritually murdered by Repulsion & Autopsy!! This is the LP vinyl version. Released in Germany.
PEZZ - One Last Look (BYO) 400.00 Php.
Welcome to Pezz's world, where the furious energy and the all too rare emotion that was once found in innovative music is at the forefront of this bands agenda! This Memphis four piece passes the songwriting & vocal duties around the table that layers this vinyl with a variety of neurotic passion that will surely kick you ass!
THE LAST MATCH - 1997 to 1999 (Sound Virus) 400.00 Php.
Last Match was from Sweden and they released a fantastic 7" as well as a split 7" with Switchblade. They were heavily influenced by Born Against and their sound was powerful, aggressive, and memorable with great lyrics and vocals. This discography LP includes all of their released tracks as well as fifteen unreleased tracks, and it comes with a great looking booklet that includes lyrics and art from this awesome hardcore outfit. Clear wax LP.
TRIBE 8 - Snarkism (Alternative Tentacles) 600.00 Php.
Tribe 8 was an all-women outspoken dyke punk band from San Francisco, California. Considered one of the first queercore groups,[1] they take their name from the practice of tribadism. In concert, lead singer Breedlove frequently performed shirtless, wearing a strap-on dildo, and encouraged audience members to interact with it. Their songs often deal with subjects such as S/M, nudity, fellatio, and transgender issues, and the band was the subject of controversy because of this. Their second album “Snarkism” is chock full of snide comments and sarcasm, liberally sprinkled with ska, funk, pop, punk and outright trash, with bits of sax and violin.
UNITED SUPER VILLAINS - Choke Slammed Back To Life (Deranged) 400.00 Php.
Another fast thrashing hardcore record from Wisconsin's U.S.V.; you might remember the thrasher they did on Havoc Records. The music is fast and furious but all the weird movie sound bites add a sense of comedy to the approach, but the U.S.V. lyrical content is quite good (even a song telling people to read the god damn lyric sheets!). This is a good record, and I would say anyone that likes D.S.13 or Code 13 is going to like this as well (not that U.S.V. sounds like either of these bands, but the same people that dig those bands will dig U.S.V.). Thrash on!

FOREIGN DVD
LA ESCENA (Disco De Hoy / Southkore ) 400.00 Php
La Escena is a documentary of the history of the Puerto Rican punk scene released in 2007.The story of “la escena,” which is what they refer to punk as in P.R., is told through various people from different facets who have been around for a while. The film starts off with the first wave talking about the beginnings, what it means, why they did it, sharing experiences, and why they are still around. Then they go into things like the C.P.P.R., which is a large contingent of skinheads who have national pride, but claim to not be fascist or racist. The news footage of them walking through town and the bewildered reporters is a good laugh. Then there are the effects of rock en Español, and how it affected the punk scene. As expected, no one seems thrilled with it and felt it drained a bit of the energy from “la escena” itself. The first wave eventually disintegrates from the usual apathy, drugs, and alcohol. Then they bring in some of the young, like Jose, who have learned from the mistakes of the past and intend to build something stronger. So it ends on a hopeful note. Only time will tell. The quality is great, and they keep the pace moving, never belaboring one point. So instead of renting some turd like American Hardcore, why not get this instead? Very professionally done.
